Salochanee (Sal) Reddy, PhD
Conference Strategy, Secretariat & Stakeholder Engagement Executive
Salochanee Reddy brings more than two decades of experience spanning international conferences, professional conference organisation, secretariat management, sponsorship, stakeholder engagement, strategic partnerships and organisational development.
She founded Equilibrium Events & Conferences in South Africa, building experience across international conference bids, congresses and major global gatherings. Her work subsequently expanded into organisational strategy, institutional partnerships, leadership and cross-sector convening.
Today, through Convene Africa Advisory, she brings these strands together to support organisations and destinations seeking to compete more strategically, strengthen institutional capacity and create greater value through conferences and convening.
Salochanee is also a Stanford Seed Consultant and Co-Founder of The Baobab Table, an independent strategic convening platform.
OUR EAST AFRICAN FOCUS
Strengthening Africa's position, competing for what matters.
Our immediate focus is Kenya and the wider East African region. From our base in Nairobi, we work to strengthen the region’s position within the international conference and knowledge economy by helping institutions and destinations build the strategy, capacity, conference pipelines and partnerships required to compete successfully. Our East African focus sits within a broader Africa-wide ambition and global outlook.
